The Magical Transformation of Raw Materials
The journey of chenille yarn begins with carefully selected cotton fibers or blends. These raw materials are gently combed by an opening machine, removing impurities like a spa treatment for cotton. Then comes the core process-air-blown spinning-where high-pressure air blows the fibers into a uniform web structure, a process that determines the final bulk of the yarn.
The Magical Weaving of the Yarn
The web-formed fibers enter a specially designed spinning machine, where electrostatic adsorption creates a unique fancy structure. A key trick here is that the spindle vibrates at a specific frequency, allowing the fibers to naturally wind into a spiral shape. This structure is the secret to the soft feel of chenille yarn, with approximately 5,000 micropores per meter.
The Glamorous Transformation of the Finished Product
The final stage involves giving the yarn a "protective coat." First, it undergoes gentle steam setting, like a hair treatment; then, a photoelectric detector removes defective segments; finally, a special figure-eight cross-winding method is used when winding it into bobbins to ensure it won't knot during use. Before packaging, it undergoes a 48-hour natural re-moistening treatment to bring the yarn to its optimal condition.
